Unit Function
Cyber and Specialist Operations Command (CSOC) is the driving force behind integration and the enabling foundation for Defence’s enhanced global posture.
It is a four-star Command and works side by side with the other Front-Line Commands.
Position Role
A demanding role responsible for orchestrating engagement activity on behalf of the Command.
Team leader and project manager for engagement work strands within CSOC, cohering the various internal and external stakeholders and ensuring delivery of Commander’s engagement aims.
Working in high stress situations, you will need to quickly react to change and adapt plans on the run.
Responsibilities
- Principle lead responsible for the delivery of a strategic engagement programme including the co-ordination, planning and execution of dedicated strategic communications events.
- Provides the liaison function between MSHQ, FLCs, HQ CSOC, external industry and events stakeholders.
- Recruit and lead a multi-disciplinary team under the guidance of Dep Dir Strategy and working with the Head of Communications and the Comms team to ensure message alignment.
- Lead and coordinate the annual strategic conference. Enable and cohere annual staff events.
- Cohere delivery of the Defence Security and Equipment International (DSEI) Exhibition event from a CSOC perspective.
- Represent CSOC best interests and support wider defence aims and objectives for DSEI to the event organiser.
- Optimise CSOC messaging though appropriate opportunities, be pro-active and bpt organise other events as necessary eg Battlefield studies.
- Uphold CSOC's reputation as the Integrator within Defence and maintain/develop partnerships accordingly
