Hygiene & food safety: Comply with food hygiene regulations and record all temperature records.
Field kitchen operations: Manage/assist with all aspects of catering from staffing, equipment, rationing and production of all meals.
Safety, Health Environmental and Fire (SHEF): Comply with all SHEF Regulations.
Fulfils the role, duties and tasks required of a trained soldier depending on rank and according to the Unit's requirements.
When duty chef or senior chef on duty, you will be responsible for all aspects of catering from staffing, equipment, rationing and production of all meals in static or field facilities.
Complete yearly update training on food hygiene, field catering, SHEF and MATT’s.
Be prepared to assist in any other duties as directed by the QM/Unit catering SNCO’s.
