131 Cdo Sqn is the Army Reserve sub-unit of 24 Cdo RE, based in London, Bath and Birmingham. Responsibilities include:
- Advise the OC and chain of command on all G4 matters.
- Command Squadron Echelon in barracks, on exercise and during operations.
- Career manage Squadron Echelon personnel.
- Carry out the duties of the Squadron Equipment Manager, liaising closely with the unit Quartermaster’s Department.
- Formulate, enforce and periodically audit a robust Squadron Equipment Care (EC) regime in line with the Commanding Officer's EC Policy and the Unit Equipment Care Directive (UECD).
- Facilitate and conduct inspections and checks as specified in the UECD.
- Provide direction, guidance and assurance to Squadron logistic support.
- Educate Squadron personnel in the importance of effective logistic support.
