Subject to formal establishment, Joint Boarding process and sS Policies, a vacancy will arise for an OF2/OF1 to serve as CSOC DSEI Coord VTOD at MoD Northwood on VTOD Terms and Conditions of Service (TaCoS), with an initial proposed start date of 01 Jan 2027.
Up to 80 RSDs until 30 Sep 2027 / total are available for the right candidate to conduct the role.
Unit Function
Cyber and Specialist Operations Command (CSOC) is the driving force behind integration and the enabling foundation for Defence’s enhanced global posture. It is a four-star Command and works side by side with the other Front-Line Commands.
Position Role
Deliver Defence Security Equipment International (DSEI) 2027 CSOC activity working to the SO1 Events
Responsibilities
1. Support the SO1 Engagement Events in the delivery of the strategic engagement programme including the planning, administration and execution of DSEI 2027 to enhance the reputation of the Command and wider Services.
2. Help coordinate the logistics and arrangements for the CSOC presence at DSEI
3. Provide staff support - this may include coordination of Working Groups, staff work, coordination with Senior Leadership Team Outer Offices.
4. Help deliver CSOC events during DSEI such as the Armed Forces Parliamentary Scheme visit, launches and the reception.
5. Coordinate the registration process for all CSOC participants to ensure their arrival on Day 1 goes smoothly.
6. Provide troubleshooting support for the team, especially on the stand and during events.
