The predicted salary is between 35000 - 44962 £ per year.

1. Act as the principle focus and advisor for all Band administrative matters.

2. Liaison with external agencies and routine ‘front of house’ duties on behalf of the DOM.

3. Ensure PLI and Risk Assessments (sponsor and venue) are acquired/completed.

4. Represent the Band at external meetings and events as directed.

5. Forecast, monitor and control the Band RSD allocation, ensuring the annual allocations are not exceeded.

6. Organise attendance for personnel to complete their ALDP course within the Regiment/Field Army as necessary.

7. Responsible for the issue of all uniforms, clothing and accoutrements.

8. Undertake IC of engagements as delegated by the DOM.

9. Conduct musical/military training as required.

10. Produce an attendance register for any forecasted training for the Band.

11. Ensure that the correct medical procedures are adhered to for any potential recruits and Reserve extensions.

12. Production of routine letters, orders and reports.

13. Complete all necessary administrative procedures with regards to recruiting, retention and discharge, re-engaging of personnel, with assistance from RCMO.

14. Prepare and submit PMEs for any Band engagements.

15. Organise and administer all Band engagements as per JSP 813 Instructions for Band and Service Musicians inclusive of contracts, business cases/costings, invoices, transport, finance, security, catering and accommodation.

16. Maintain Band and Regimental FB assets with regular and informative information.

17. Liaise with Media Ops as required with regards to all matters pertaining to band publicity.

Responsibilities:

18. Ensure that all new Band members are measured for an initial issue of kit.

19. Prepare a musical training plan, in conjunction with the DOM.

20. Responsible for organising all aspects of the Band's ADE.

21. Organisation of RSD training weekends to ensure that all musicians achieve Fit-for-Role.

22. Alternative ADEs organised for those who could not attend Band ADE – transport, accommodation, RSDs.

23. Work with the DOM and BM to produce and execute a Recruiting Plan.

24. Investigate the reason for LTNA (Non-Attendees).

25. Liaise with potential sponsors, both Military and Civilian, requesting musical support from the Band and Corps of Drums.

26. Visit proposed venues to assess them for suitability, security and any other risks that may be involved.

27. Travel in advance of Band if necessary, to the venue, to ensure that all previously discussed details have been adhered to.

28. Management of PowerPoint slides for Regiment maintained and updated monthly.

29. Ensure the Band FOE is maintained at Regt level, liaise with LONDIST and ensure all engagements are uploaded.

30. Sub-unit Establishment management.

31. Pay and allowances, upon completion of training, all entries are to be inputted onto Churchill and onto JPA.

32. Collation of CO’s Certificate of efficiency in data and forwarded to the relevant authority.

33. Conduct any other tasks as directed by Regt HQ and DOM.

34. Update RSD tracker for LONDIST monthly.
