A vacancy has arisen for a Sqn Ldr (Aircrew/OS (ABM)) to serve as SO2 Sqn Support on 14 Sqn at RAF Waddington on Full Time Reserve Service (Limited Commitment) Terms and Conditions of Service (TCoS), with an initial proposed start date of 10 January 2027.

The 14 Sqn FTRS (LC) SO2 Spt role provides continuity and resilience at the OF3 level across the breadth of the Sqn non-deployed support remit. The support role sits within 14 Sqn HQ Flt. The role provides capacity for growth and continual improvement across areas of day-to-day business, improving the Sqn profile and outward links.

SO2 Spt provides capacity and continuity during periods of Flt Cdr Deployment and is responsible for:

  • Total Safety (air and functional)
  • Infrastructure
  • Diversity & Inclusion
  • Health & Safety tasks
