To Command and Lead a Platoon of recruits and Permanent Staff within a Phase 1 establishment; responsibilities include:

  • Command Platoon as per the ATR(G) objectives/mission.
  • Responsible for day-to-day management of personnel in camp and when deployed.
  • Supervise and advise SNCOs and JNCOs in all aspects of professional and personal development.
  • Career management of all personnel under their command.
  • Monitor all aspects of administration and recommend disciplinary, welfare or remedial action to OC.
  • Responsible for health, safety and welfare of all personnel under command.
