Subject to formal establishment change, a position will become available for a Sqn Ldr Aircrew (Pilot) to serve as STENEVAL DCA at RAF Marham on Full Time Reserve Service (Limited Commitment) Terms and Conditions of Service (TCoS), with an initial proposed start date of 08 July 27
- Primary. Operate F-35 to deliver effective and resilient combat capability in support of current operations, whilst being prepared for contingency tasking. Maintain proficiency across directed F35 missions and ensure currency in supervisory and instructional roles.
- Assurance. Through rigorous inspection, standardisation, and evaluation, STANEVAL DCA ensures crews, AV, and support elements maintain the highest levels of proficiency and compliance with national and allied nuclear mission requirements; strengthening credible deterrence, interoperability, and mission assurance in support of UK and allied defence objectives. This assurance is provided via OC STANEVAL to the Senior Operator, Duty Holder Chain and 1 Gp CAFHQ as required.
- Training. Contributing to the maintenance of Ltng AW trg documents through 6-monthly amendments; this includes chairing UK Ltng DCA Workshops and ensuring that the LF is appropriately represented in current and future F35 DCA integration workstrands. Acting on behalf of the TDA to provide and maintain a suitable UK Ltng DCA syllabus.
- Tactics. Responsible for controlling and managing UK F35 DCA TTPs to FL QWIs and acting as the organisations UK F35 DCA Weapons Instructor representative.
- Products. Working with LF QWIs to ensure all UK Ltng DCA Phase Briefs and supporting documents for LF approved syllabi remain correct and up-to-date.
- Documents. Maintenance of the LF Pocket Book and SOPs to ensure correct and relevant information relating to UK Ltng DCA role.
- External liaison. Act on behalf of CAW as the operational representative for UK Ltng DCA TTPs, weapons, and interoperability advice to external agencies including, but not limited to, 1Gp CAFHQ, LDT, AWC, QinetiQ, DIS, Air Cmd, and Air Cap as well as integration with NATO and USAFE.
