Role: The Healthcare Assurance Team (Hc AT) are responsible for providing Governance and Assurance SME support and advice to the Defence Medical Command (DMed C) as the 2nd Line of Defence (2LOD) on behalf of the Chief Defence Medical (CD Med).
Responsibilities
Support the daily management and analysis of the reporting systems eg ASER/SERLS HAF and to provide SME advice.

Produce analysis reports from the DMed C Healthcare Governance and Assurance Frameworks to identify trends and monitor emerging risk to Patient Safety.
3.
Carry out bespoke visits and investigations into identified areas of interest/concern as required and producing Patient Safety Review (reports).
4.
Deputy Lead in development of Healthcare Assurance systems.
5.
Develop, maintain and communicate ways of highlighting Patient Safety issues across the DMed C.
6.
Lead representative, for Hc AT with DMS OL teams and promoting the understanding of the impact on Patient Safety within the DMed C, of such programmes
7.
Any other healthcare assurance tasks as discussed and mutually agreed with the SO1 Healthcare Assurance.
8.
Deputise for SO1 Healthcare Assurance.
