(Any Profession) to serve as JCCC MIC VRR 1 at Imjin Barracks on Volunteer ex-Regular Reserve Terms and Conditions of Service (TCo S), with an initial proposed start date of 16 February 2027.
The JCCC Reserve Squadron provides support to the JCCC Operations Room primarily as part of the Out of Hours Watch Keeping team, and when activated, the Prisoner of War Information Bureau.
The primary tasks are the management of Compassionate Cases and Casualty Notification; investigation with external agencies and providing advice to Service Chain of Command (SCo C), Service Personnel and families.
- Call handling from units, service personnel and family members.
- Investigation of case to confirm entitlement and authorisation to travel at public expense.
- Provide guidance to Casualty Notification Officers.
- Updating appropriate agencies within specified timescales.
- Work as an Out of Hours watch keeper.
