A vacancy has arisen for a OR9-OF3 to serve as ISTAR AWS Flt Cdr Spt at RAF Lossiemouth on Additional Duties Commitment Terms and Conditions of Service (TCoS), with an initial proposed start date of 04 January 2027 or earlier/later subject to candidate status.
This RAF Reservist position provides essential support to the ISTAR Air Wing Support (AWS) team and the Air Wing Headquarters. Delivering key planning, coordination and governance activities that directly enable operational flying output across the Air Wing and support to wider Defence outputs through the facilitation of FGen’s. Responsibilities include support to AWS Plans, Air Wing Flying Programme (FlyPro) generation, Force Generation (FGen) process management, F540 administration, Passenger Flight (PAX) coordination and Deputy Chief of Staff (DCOS) functions. These activities are critical to ensuring the effective planning, coordination and execution of flying operations, personnel deployment, aircraft availability and operational readiness.
