A vacancy has arisen for a Warrant Officer People Ops to serve as Defence Attaché and Loan Service Centre (DALSC) at Shrivenham on Full Time Reserve Service (Limited Commitment) Terms and Conditions of Service (TCoS), with an initial proposed start date of 02 April 2027.
Unit Function:
Provide world class Command and Staff education & trg to enhance operational capability thereby advancing the Defence and security interests of the UK.
Position Role:
Operations Warrant Officer and STRAP Security Officer (Personnel/Administration/ Security).
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate J1 administration, resolve personnel issues and act as the primary POC for staff assigned to the DALSC training pipeline.
- Deliver the DALSC Office Mgr function, LM WO2 Logs, coordinate team activity and provide resilience across the wider DALSC team.
- Act as Security Sponsor, Branch Sy Off and STRAPSO, ensuring security compliance and support to IGDN Defence Section personnel.
- Maintain DALSC Training Registers and Nominal Rolls, tracking personnel progress, readiness and deployment preparation.
- Monitor JMES compliance, escalate medical issues and coordinate risk assessments to support deployment readiness.
- Engage key stakeholders and deliver briefs to optimise pre-deployment preparation and policy compliance.
- Coordinate language SOTR and oversee Serco support outputs in support of DALSC activities.
- Represent DALSC at meetings, Wk Gps, briefings and courses, ensuring effective communication and stakeholder engagement.
