Position Role: Principle staff officer responsible for MS support to the Comd. SME on MS providing direction and guidance to 14 subordinate units (Regular & Reserve). 101 OSB is the largest Brigade in the Army.

Responsibilities:

  • Principle Staff Officer responsible for MS support to the Comd.
  • Provide MS support and guidance to the Comd and subordinate units (10 Regular and 4 Army Reserve units).
  • Receipt, interpretation and dissemination of MS policy matters.
  • Lead staff officer for Honours and Awards, including coordination of the Comd's H&A Boards.
  • Ensure that deadlines for all MS functions are met and paperwork is complete to staff forward to Higher Formation or APC.
  • Oversight for the AR process to ensure mandated MS timelines are met within the HQ and subordinate units.
