Responsibilities:
- Accounting for all G1098/Miscellaneous stores held by the company.
- Checking serviceability of all items after training periods, and ensuring repairs, replacement and laundering of items as required.
- Indenting for or local purchase of rations.
- Taking part in recces/advance parties prior to take-over of training camps and facilities.
- Replenishment during company training.
- The recovery of clothing, equipment and publications from discharged and non-effective personnel, visiting them at home if necessary, in conjunction with the PSAO and PSI.
- Accounting for all training publications and aide-memoirs.
- The Management of Health and Safety policy as detailed by the PSAO, in line with the Unit Safety Advisors direction.
- Ensure that the Company adhere to current Equipment Care guidelines as articulated in the UECD.
- Ensure Company compliance with 8 Rifles G4 SO’s.
- The management and security of the sub unit Armoury in line with the XO’s security plan and the QM’s accounting procedures.
- A good understanding of unit Motor Transport procedures and the management of vehicles and personal driving documents held at sub unit level.
- The QPSI may be required to carry out any additional responsibilities as required by the QM.
