A vacancy has arisen for a Flight Sergeant TG1 to serve as Hawk TMk2 MilCAMO Quality Manager at RAF Valley on Full Time Reserve Service (Limited Commitment) Terms and Conditions of Service (TCoS), with an initial proposed start date of 01 February 2027.
This is a unique opportunity to take a leading role at the heart of Military Continuing Airworthiness, driving quality, compliance and continuous improvement across the Hawk T Mk2 enterprise. As the Military CAMO Quality Manager (QM), you will be responsible to the Military Continuing Airworthiness Manager (Mil CAM) for the development, maintenance and continuous improvement of the Hawk TMk2 CAMO Quality Management System (QMS).
Working across a diverse network of stakeholders, you will ensure the CAMO QMS remains robust, effective and fully compliant with Military Aviation Authority (MAA) regulations, supporting the safe and airworthy operation of the aircraft throughout its service life.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead and continuously improve the Hawk T Mk2 CAMO Quality Management System.
- Provide independent assurance on airworthiness compliance, risk and quality performance.
- Identify, investigate and drive closure of quality findings and non-compliances.
- Plan and conduct audits of CAMO activities, processes and stakeholder organisations.
- Assure personnel competence and compliance with Continuing Airworthiness requirements.
- Oversee maintenance and contracted activities to ensure ongoing airworthiness standards.
- Maintain CAME compliance and support the management of regulatory approvals, waivers and exemptions.
- Engage with stakeholders across the Hawk enterprise to promote a culture of quality, assurance and continuous improvement.
