Responsibilities:

  • Manage the routine outputs of the Detachment to ensure the G1 operational effectiveness of the unit.
  • Act as alternative account operator for Public Funds and Service (Charitable) Funds.
  • Promote and maintain SPS ethos within the Detachment in accordance with the V&S of the British Army.
  • Support the RAO and Det Comd with the career management, welfare and mentoring of unit AGC(SPS)/GSPS personnel.
  • Conduct the duties of LUMS administrator and PVRO in the absence of Det Comd.
  • Act as the Unit Information Knowledge Lead (IKL), promoting the value of information and knowledge in accordance with policy and legislations.
  • Lead for the technical aspects of Detachment training in support of the Det Comd’s training programme.
  • Direct the delivery of personnel management checks and internal assurance processes as required.
