Subject to formal establishment, two vacancies will arise for a Cpl-Sgt to serve as Eng Ops Eng Support at either RAF Henlow/Blandford Garrison/MOD Northwood on Full Time Reserve Service (Limited Commitment) Terms and Conditions of Service (TCoS), with an initial proposed start date from 1 Oct 26. This is a superb opportunity for two vacancies to provide vital engineering support within D&D Engineering Operations, undertaking general engineering activities that enable specialist personnel to concentrate on the delivery of complex Air ISR data systems and network integration requirements.
Responsibilities for both positions will:
- Assist in designing, testing, commissioning, managing, and supporting infrastructure solutions in accordance with MOD standards as directed by the department.
- Assist in the technical assurance of in-service MOD communication networks to customers across the MOD.
- Conduct fault-finding, performance analysis and problem resolution for secure networks.
- Report progress and highlight problems to line and senior management as appropriate.
