The predicted salary is between 30000 - 40000 Β£ per year.

Unit Role: 51 Inf Bde – the JMC that leads, enables, sustains and promotes the British Army in Scotland.

Position Role: Lead Warrant Officer responsible for youth engagement in the community (i.e. outside education and schools), focusing on the delivery of targeted events for young people through outdoor activities and sport.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead SME for youth sports engagement and uniformed youth group engagement activity in the JMC AOR.
  • Establish and develop relationships with youth clubs, organisations and networks in Scotland and provide advice as required.
  • Plan, deliver, coordinate and support youth engagement sporting activity and events.
  • Plan, deliver, coordinate and support engagement activity and events with community and national youth organisations.
  • Establish and maintain contacts with key stakeholders, liaising with external agencies, JMC Staff and Army Reserve units to deliver appropriate youth engagement activities.
  • Identify opportunities to promote Army careers through youth sports and outdoor activity engagement.
  • Support JMC SO2 Youth/D&I with the delivery and coordination of youth engagement activity.
  • BPT Deliver and support additional tasks as directed by the CofC.
