Responsibilities:

  • The ReMSO is responsible to the OC for the Coy’s recruiting strategy and its implementation. He is to disseminate the information to the PSAO and monitor the work of the RRMT.
  • The ReMSO is to assist in writing the Coy annual Recruitment plan each year for submission to ROSO in consultation with the OC and PSAO.
  • The ReMSO is responsible to the OC/ROSO for the day-to-day recruiting and training of all potential Soldiers.
  • The ReMSO is to liaise with ATU/ATR to ensure the correct training and development of soldiers under training.
  • The ReMSO is responsible for the exploitation of recruitment events using inventive methods.
  • The ReMSO is responsible for maintaining the Recruitment office/Army Reserves Centre recruitment signs and literature.
  • The ReMSO is solely responsible for maintaining an accurate recruitment database and the management of Coy communications related to recruitment (social Media).
  • The ReMSO is the POC and lead in support of CE and EE activity, supported by company personnel.
  • Complete any other task as directed by the ROSO or CoC related to recruitment and CE.
