Subject to formal establishment, a vacancy will arise for a OF3 to serve as CSOC PSyA SO2 PhysSy-DefCNI1 at Northwood on FTRS (LC) Terms and Conditions of Service (TaCoS), with an initial proposed start date of 01 Dec 26.(or earlier/later, subject to formal establishment and candidate status).
Unit Function: HQ CSOC provides the research, analysis, force development, joint training, education, doctrine and deployable joint command and control that underpin Defence
Position Role: The SO2 Physical Security CNI Advisor will support Defence Areas in understanding assets important for the delivery of Defence output, providing specialist advice on physical security and force protection of Defence Critical National Infrastructure (DefCNI).
Responsibilities:
Develop an understanding of the Strategic Defence Review (SDR) requirements placed upon Homeland Defence (HD).
Understand the JSP 503 DefCNI categorisation process.
Develop a full understanding of a Defence Area’s assets which are required to deliver strategic output.
Through CSOC Command, engage the enterprise to map assets (people, processes, technology, information and facilities) and resilience data.
Draft security advisory notices and security direction notices for force protection and physical security of DefCNI.
Undertake learning and development and upskilling as required.
Undertake any other reasonable physical security DefCNI taskings / activities as set by the line manager.
Emergency Duty Officer Out-of-Office hours Initial Point of Contract on a rotational basis.
