| Domestic Considerations: This role is based in Army HQ, Andover. The HQ operates a hybrid working model which will apply to this post. Position Role: SO1 Policy - Owns Army change policy, standards, frameworks and lessons, driving continuous improvement and enabling the CMO as a centre of excellence for change. Responsibilities: 1. Set and maintain Army change management policy, standards and continuous improvement processes. 2. Own the BCM/CMO policy framework, ensuring that change management activity is coherent, repeatable and professionally applied across programmes. 3. Develop and maintain change management toolkits and templates. 4. Systematically capture lessons from BCM-involved change initiatives. 5. Reduce change management bureaucracy whilst maintaining governance and control. 6. Increase change success rates and accelerate benefits realisation by embedding approved improvements into business-as-usual activity. 7. Provide the professional backbone that enables BCMs to use consistent approaches across different programmes and portfolios. 8. Maintain the continuous improvement loop across change management activity, including lessons learnt, retrospectives and iterative refinement.
