Subject to formal establishment, Joint boarding process and single Service (sS) policies, a vacancy will arise for an OF3 to serve as SO2 HUMINT Training & Education at either RAF Wyton, Cambridgeshire or Chicksands, Bedfordshire, on FTRS Home Commitment (HC) Terms and Conditions of Service (TaCoS), with an initial proposed start date of ASAP.

Unit Function: Governance, oversight and command of the DI HUMINT Business Unit (BU) and assurance of all Defence HUMINT activity inculcating CDI’s functional leadership.

Position Role: SO2 HUMINT Training & Education

Responsibilities:

  • Lead on development of through-life training plan for HUMINT, especially UCM training career training pathway.
  • Refine requirements for career and promotion training for HUMINT operators.
  • Conduct Training Needs Analysis (TNA) to support through-life training plan.
  • Integrate current education activities (PG Cert) with wider training pathway and own PG Cert arrangements.
  • Review pre-selection process for HUMINT courses with DSTL.
  • Liaise with DITG, DHU and partners on training delivery activity.
  • Act as TRA for wider HUMINT training if required.
  • Assist with the crafting of any new course material.
