NEW Additional Duties Commitment - 180 days
A new Additional Duties Commitment for a CQMS post to support the G4 area within RHQ SWOTR at Bristol UOTC. This is a relatively new organisation which encompasses both Bristol and Exeter UOTC . The role will be based out of Whiteladies Road in Bristol with occasional travel to Exeter, other local areas and support the Regiment whilst deployed.
Due to the nature of the organisation, the ideal candidate would already be a qualified CQMS but not essential, who's responsibilities are, but not limited to, those shown below. They should also be proactive in their approach to work and problem solving, able to work with young people and display tact and professionalism.
Responsibilities:
- Uphold and enforce the Values & Standards of the British Army.
- Uphold and contribute to the SWOTR Ethos.
- Support the Quartermaster (QM) and Regimental Quartermaster Sergeant (RQMS) with all G4 work related activities.
- Act as the primary G4 PoC in the absence of the RQMS.
- Provide training assistance to support & enhance effectiveness of outputs within the G4 sphere.
- Assist with Ammunition Management & Movements Duties
- Assist the QM & RQMS in promoting a safe culture (Safety, Health, Environment Management, Fire (SHEF)) within the working environment.
