Domestic Considerations: RSDs inline with current restrictions. Army Reserve post, flexibility to work late nights and weekends and exercises up to 2 weeks.

Position/Role: Squadron Sergeant Major

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all ITR's are carried out.
  • Monitor and maintain standards of discipline, dress and military bearing of all Squadron members in barracks and in the field.
  • Sqn SME for all Basic Close Combat Skills and Mil Trg.
  • Develop a coaching and mentoring culture within the Sqn, including development of Troop SNCOs.
  • Ensure CO's physical development policy is fully implemented.
  • Provide mentoring and guidance for NCOs within the Squadron.
  • Control the support elements of SHQ on exercise and operations.
