Position/Role: Squadron Sergeant Major
Responsibilities:
- Ensure all ITR's are carried out.
- Monitor and maintain standards of discipline, dress and military bearing of all Squadron members in barracks and in the field.
- Sqn SME for all Basic Close Combat Skills and Mil Trg.
- Develop a coaching and mentoring culture within the Sqn, including development of Troop SNCOs.
- Ensure CO's physical development policy is fully implemented.
- Provide mentoring and guidance for NCOs within the Squadron.
- Control the support elements of SHQ on exercise and operations.
