Responsibilities:

  • Overall responsibility for all aspects of pay and administration within the Regt to ensure G1 readiness and operational effectiveness.
  • Overall responsibility for the management of the Regt Admin Office.
  • Lead for all relevant personnel management checks and internal assurance processes in compliance with Defence and sS policy.
  • Unit Checking Officer for public funds, JPA iExpense Auditor and Internal Auditor for Service Charitable Funds.
  • Advisor and focal point for civilian staff where required.
  • Provide financial advice to the budget holder.
  • Provide G1 career advice to SPS Reserve personnel as required.
  • Unit Data Protection officer, Information Manager and focal point for SAR and DP issues.
  • Lead on information, data governance and assurance and improvements in Unit KIM maturity on behalf of SIO.
  • Line Manager for military and civilian staff.
