Private Soldier; The correct usage of all troop equipment in accordance with the Commanding Officer's equipment Care Directive and in accordance with their training. Complete all tasks assigned by the Section Commander as well as any additional tasks assigned by the Chain of Command. To understand the hazards and control measures required while working in a Petroleum Oil and Lubricants environment, as well as the management hierarchy pertaining to the sites/installations. Complying with the Safety Rules and Procedures outlined in JSP 317 when deploying fuel equipment for operations and exercises. Observe the unit fire orders and the spillage response plan.

Lance Corporal; Supervise the correct usage of all troop equipment in accordance with the Commanding Officer's equipment Care Directive and in accordance with their training. Ensure that all necessary equipment documentation is properly filled out. Carry out quality assurance of petroleum products to ensure the product quality and integrity. When deployed, maintain, and administer fuel equipment and other section equipment. Complete all tasks assigned by the administrative Sgt as well as any additional tasks assigned by the Chain of Command. Maintain readiness standards by ensuring that subordinates attend medical, Individual Training Requirement, and have the correct equipment. When deploying fuel equipment for operations and exercises, ensure compliance with the Safety Rules and Procedures defined in JSP 317.

Both Ranks; Focus on medical and physical fitness, Individual Training Requirement (ITRs), and personal administration to maintain readiness standards. Take reasonable precautions to ensure their own health and safety, as well as the health and safety of others who may be affected by their actions or omissions, when performing tasks.
