Position Role: Section Commander ATU (NI).

Responsibilities:

  • Perform the duties of a Section Commander delivering Army Reserve Basic Training CMS (R) 21.
  • Key responsibility is to deliver SAA to their allocated section within the Basic (A) Training Platoon to WHT standard.
  • Fully conversant and compliant with all aspects of BT either leading or supporting its delivery.
  • Assist the Platoon Commander with compiling Recruits report books and the Platoon Sergeant with administration.
  • Lead Recruits and inspire individual achievement as per the ARITC code of practice for instructors.
  • Undertake any additional tasks and gain other relevant qualifications to support BT as required by the CoC.
  • Maintain regular engagement with own cap badge ensuring the individual remains SQEP within CEQ.
  • Any other tasks as directed by the CoC.
