Subject to Joint Boarding process and sS Policies, a vacancy will arise for a OF3 to serve as MS HR Business Partner at MoD Corsham on FTRS(HC) Terms and Conditions of Service (TaCoS), with an initial proposed start date of 1 Sep 26, or earlier if achievable. This is a superb opportunity to work within the NAD Mil HR JSST team partnering Defence Digital. The Mil HR BP will lead on the Military Workforce Management and some Military Secretariat activities for the Regular Military employees from all 3 Services and will strive to improve the military staff employee experience, ensuring it’s a very good place for all military personnel to serve.

Responsibilities:

  • Understand and maintain the Military Workforce Requirement, in conjunction with NADG and in accordance with sS Policies and Strategic Workforce Plan.
  • Lead the DD Military Talent Management processes and annual reporting boards.
  • Be the Lead POC for DD FORCEGEN Military trawls process including all internal taskings, MOD DSTA instructed trawls and Court Martial duties.
  • Be the prime point for contact for the Service Personnel Authorities where required and liaison with Site Admin Support Units for workforce matters.
  • Coordinate job boards for all DD roles, tracking positions and Job Spec completion (via Army Talent Mgt system where necessary).
  • Participate or coordinate DD participation in any engagement sessions.
  • Be the lead on Competition & Rotation Posts and Job Board prioritisations.
  • Contribute to the development of HR led Employee Engagement and D&I strategies, ensuring the Military perspective is represented.
  • Contribute to the People Strategy and Strategic Workforce Plan to ensure a Whole Force approach.
  • Give advice and guidance to business areas on Military Establishment change processes and work with the HR Workforce Planning teams for Military Establishment and JPA amendments.

Accountability:

MS HR BP is accountable to Grade 7 HR Strat and Plans, but this is subject to change under the NAD Initial Work Alignment. NAD JSSU CO is the Second Reporting Officer.
