Subject to Joint Boarding process and sS Policies, a vacancy will arise for a OF3 to serve as Military Resource and Establishment Manager at Defence Cyber and Electromagnetic Force, MOD Corsham on FTRS Limited Commitment Terms and Conditions of Service (TCoS), with an initial proposed start date of 12 October 2026.

Unit Function

The Defence Cyber & Electromagnetic Force is responsible for generating, integrating, and employing CyEM capabilities to protect operations, assure the force, and deliver effects across the Cyber Domain and Electromagnetic Environment.

Position Role

To monitor and advise on all matters relating to the military establishment, FGen and pan-DCEMF MS/alignment.

Responsibilities

  • Working in a supportive and professional team in the Support the Force pillar in DCEMF, lead on all activities associated with managing the DCEMF Military Establishment of approx. 430 posts (Tri Service). Partner across DCEMF to lead on military workforce resourcing solutions as part of the whole force resourcing approach. To include TLB approvals, SLIM and JPA and workforce planning.
  • Maintain the Workforce Requirement, and make amendments where required in conjunction with CSOC and in accordance with Single Service Policy (sS) and CSOC People Strategic Workforce Plan. Lead on any compensating reduction, workforce growth, rebalancing, or efficiency measures. Contribute to the CSOC People Strategy and Strategic Workforce Plan to ensure a Whole Force approach.
  • Lead on the DCEMF Military Competition & Rotation Posts by monitoring data and to achieve effective resourcing, within set timelines.
  • Lead the DCEMF Alignment process for OF3, OF4 & OF5 grades of Military Personnel, and assist CSOC with OF6 and OF7 alignment.
  • Lead the military Force Generation (trawls) process across DCEMF, including all Court Martial requests, as directed by CSOC FGen.
  • Lead the DCEMF Honours & Awards submissions to CSOC.
  • Liaise with ‘Tribal Chiefs’ (one per Service) on any issues with professional cohorts and how it may affect the filling of posts in DCEMF, including liaison with Career Management authorities, and liaison with site Admin units.
