Task Requirements
A vacancy has arisen for an OF2 (Any Service) to serve as the Executive Officer at the Cyber Specialist Unit (CSU), MoD Corsham on Full Time Reserve Service (Limited Commitment) Terms and Conditions of Service (TCoS), with an initial proposed start date of 14 Sep 2026.
The successful applicant will lead the 3-person CSU Corsham Coord Team. The individual will be expected to successfully attain Developed Vetting security clearance. Applicants who believe that there could be obstacles to obtaining such clearances should notify the post sponsor as soon as possible.
Unit Function
The GOSCC is responsible for operating and defending the networks, infrastructure, applications and data across the MoD information enterprise
Responsibilities
Provide day-to-day leadership of CSU, acting in place of the OC when required.
Attend all relevant JDCU sub-unit commander and JCU(R) HQ meetings as primary unit exec.
Attend the Joint Cyber Reserve Selection Board at Imjin Barracks and the Cyber Reserves Induction Package at RAF Benson where necessary.
Oversee and performance monitor all CSU Coord Team activity.
Continuously strive to improve and enhance CSU integration with Regular counterparts.
Act as ‘front door’ to CSU for all matters that do not fall under the OpsO domain, e.g. ceremonial and AT
Responsible for producing and/or maintaining key unit staff work outputs, particularly WW, AI & USO
Act as UKSV Sponsor, LSO and Authorised Demander for CSU pers, Maintain all CSU Sharepoint Pages and JDCU Org Charts
