A vacancy has arisen for a SERGEANT CYBERSPACE to serve as ASSESSOR COS at RAF COSFORD on Full Time Reserve Service (Limited Commitment) Terms and Conditions of Service (TCoS), with an initial proposed start date of 4 Jan 2027.
The post holder is responsible to the HQ RAF Apprenticeships through OC / FS Cyberspace App Ctr for implementing the RAF Apprenticeship Assessment Strategy.
In particular, the post holder is responsible for:
- Coordinating Learner Progression Reviews (LPRs) with apprentices remotely and or Face to Face (FtF) including apprentice visits at the workplace with Line Management.
- Implementing and maintaining standards as required by Assessment Organisations (AO) Quality Assurance requirements.
- Remote and/or FtF Apprentice induction, apprenticeship briefs, evidence checks & exit review training.
- Supporting Apprentice Line Mgt through delivery of SMT 1 & 2 Briefs, on-programme support & Apprenticeship Assessment guidance/support.
- Undertaking Internal Quality Assurance of Apprentices Portfolios & supporting Apprentices through to Assessment.
- Undertaking on programme assessment of the Information Communications Technician Apprenticeship Standard and attending meetings, as directed by FS Cyberspace App Ctr.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date candidate data records on MIS.
- Participate, facilitate and attend standardisation events.
- Assist Cyberspace App Ctr EO & AO towards any issues pertinent to the Apprenticeship Standard.
- Undertake additional duties/projects as directed by OC / FS Cyberspace App Ctr.
