A vacancy has arisen for a Sergeant Cyberspace (Communications Engineering Technician) to serve as Distributed Cyber Protection Team Manager at RAF St Mawgan on Full Time Reserve Service (Limited Commitment) Terms and Conditions of Service (TCoS), with an initial proposed start date of 01 September 2026.
- Reporting officer for the Distributed Cyber Protect Team (DCPT) and wider Digital Support Flight (DSF) where required.
- Management of Stn cyber security and cyber hygiene.
- Alternative Crypto Custodian to the Maritime Data Assessment Centre (MDAC) crypto account, jointly responsible for station and dependant unit’s COMSEC materiel.
- Delivering cyber assurance to non-core IT systems via Secure by Design administration and guidance to system owners.
- Unit Security Officer (USyO) associated duties.
- Line management and mentorship of subordinates.
