Unit Role: Reserve Armoured Infantry Bn; led, established, equipped and trained to deliver mandated outputs in support of military operations and UK resilience tasks as directed.

Position Role: Provide the efficient and timely planning of UK Ops & Resilience direction to Bde. Lead UK Opsdesk officer within the G3 cell. Frequent work with O&D tasks and apportionments.

Responsibilities:

  • Co-ordinate and establish MOU across 5 Fusiliers ARCs as Deputy Establishment Security Officer (DESyO).
  • Provide regular DOWNREPs and education on the contemporary operating picture. Liaise with LWC to implement WARDEV reflections into regular unit and sub-unit briefings.
  • Assist the G7 Cell in the production of an AFV Recognition and Foreign Weapons training pipeline.
  • Provide 5 Fusiliers LO function to LONDIST and UKSF(R) units.
  • Maintain the Unit Restricted Travel Register.
  • Plan and deliver the scenario for Annual Training Exercise(s) IAW ARes and 5 Fusiliers' Training Directives.
  • Carry out secondary duties as tasked by CO and XO.
