Command and manage the Sqn, including all aspects of training, administration and operational readiness.
Maintain standards of materiel management and Equipment Care in accordance with Service policy.
Oversee the delivery of the Sqn to Collective Training Competence and Readiness criteria commensurate with the CO’s direction.
Oversee the career management and continuous professional development of all subordinate military personnel and civilian staff, meeting MS reporting responsibilities in accordance with JSP 757.
Engage to Recruit. Meet the targets and comply with the CO’s Directive, support initiatives as directed.
Control budgets and ensure Sqn administration is carried out in accordance with Service Regulations.
Maintain discipline of the Sqn and exercise delegated powers as required.
Provide representation and community engagement liaison across the Sqn AOR on behalf of the CO.
Support Regimental tasks, initiatives and objectives as directed.
Be prepared to commit circa 60 RSDs each TY in order to fulfil OC’s responsibilities to the required standard.
