The Role
You’ll play a key part in supporting Quality Assurance and QHSE activities across engineering, production and supply chain functions. This is a varied, hands-on role offering exposure to real-world quality challenges and industry standards.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing and following up Supplier Corrective Action Reports to drive improvements across the supply chain
- Supporting the identification, documentation and resolution of non-conformities and customer complaints
- Assisting with Root Cause Analysis and corrective action implementation
- Supporting inspection and compliance verification of received goods
- Collecting quality data and supporting trend analysis to improve finished goods quality
- Assisting with internal audits, QHSE tours and continuous improvement activities
- Supporting supplier approvals, performance monitoring and vendor appraisals
- Producing and maintaining key Quality and QHSE documentation (e.g. Quality Plans, ITPs, certification dossiers)
- Supporting calibration systems, welding records and external standards registers
- Liaising closely with Engineers, Production, Projects and Dispatch to resolve quality issues efficiently
- Providing guidance on QHSE matters and supporting the training of new or junior team members
Skills & Experience
We’re looking for someone with a strong interest in Quality and Engineering, who wants to build a long-term career in this space. You’ll ideally have:
- Experience or knowledge of inspecting electrical and/or mechanical products
- Exposure to regulated industries such as Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Pharmaceutical or similar
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Awareness or working knowledge of standards such as ISO 9001, ATEX / IECEx, ASME and PED
- Strong attention to detail, organisation and communication skills
- A proactive, professional approach and willingness to learn
