We are currently partnering with a well-established and growing engineering business to recruit a skilled CNC Machinist to join their expanding team. The Role
- As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for programming, setting, and operating CNC machinery to produce high-quality components from engineering drawings.
Key Responsibilities
- Programme, set, and operate CNC machines from technical drawings
- Manufacture components to tight tolerances and high specifications
- Ensure all work meets strict quality standards
- Work efficiently to meet production deadlines
- Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a productive workshop environment
About You
- Proven experience as a CNC Machinist
- Strong CNC and manual milling experience (essential)
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Flexible, reliable, and a strong team player
Desirable (but not essential):
- Experience with Hurco CNC machines
- Familiarity with Siemens and/or Fanuc controls
- CNC turning experience
Training can be provided for the right candidate with the right attitude and foundational skills.
