Location: Thetford, Norwich, and surrounding areas

Are you an experienced M&E Engineer with strong air conditioning knowledge, looking for a new opportunity in facilities management? This field-based role offers the chance to work across a portfolio of commercial sites, providing both planned and reactive maintenance while ensuring high standards of service and safety.
What you\’ll be doing:

  • Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems.
  • Diagnosing and resolving faults across a range of equipment.
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations.
  • Providing technical support and first-line response to emergencies.
  • Liaising directly with clients and site teams to deliver an exceptional service.
  • Supporting and mentoring apprentices and junior engineers.

What we\’re looking for:

  • Recognised apprenticeship or qualification in M&E services or building maintenance.
  • Previous experience in a similar role, ideally within commercial or retail environments.
  • 18th Edition, F-Gas, and Test & Inspection qualifications (essential).
  • Proven ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • IT proficiency for record keeping and service reporting.
  • Valid UK driving licence.

Additional information:

  • Field-based position, requiring travel between client sites.
  • Participation in an on-call rota (typically 1 in 4 weeks).
