Company Overview: We are a leading manufacturing company based in Norwich, seeking a skilled and dynamic Manufacturing Finance Controller to join my clients finance team. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly experienced finance professional with a strong background in the manufacturing industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes for the manufacturing division.
  • Prepare, analyse, and present financial reports to senior management, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Develop and implement robust financial controls and processes across the manufacturing operations.
  • Monitor key financial metrics and operational KPIs to drive cost optimisation and efficiency improvements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, supply chain, and procurement, to support decision-making and drive financial performance.
  • Manage international financial transactions and reporting, with a focus on maintaining clear communication with counterparts.
  • Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial statements.
  • Provide financial leadership and strategic insights to support long-term business objectives.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Finance Controller or similar role, with a strong background in manufacturing.
  • Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
  • Strong knowledge of financial management, budgeting, and cost control in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience working with ERP systems and financial reporting software.
  • Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organisation.
