I'm working in partnership with a well-established engineering company that delivers high-quality electrical solutions across industrial, commercial, and agricultural sectors. Due to continued growth and an expanding order book, they’re now looking to recruit an Electrical Design Engineer to join their team.

In this role, you'll be responsible for the full electrical design of control panels, from concept through to completion. You’ll work closely with project and production teams to ensure designs are accurate, efficient, and delivered on time.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop electrical control panels for a range of bespoke projects
  • Produce detailed electrical schematics and panel layouts
  • Liaise with clients and internal teams to understand technical requirements
  • Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations
  • Support the wider engineering team with technical input throughout the project lifecycle
Ideal Candidate:
  • Strong experience in electrical design, specifically relating to control panels
  • Proficient in AutoCAD Electrical – this is essential
  • Experience with E-Plan is highly desirable; however, full training will be provided for the right candidate
  • Familiarity with projects across industrial, commercial, and/or agricultural environments is beneficial
  • Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to problem solving
