About Us:
My client is dedicated to delivering high-quality solutions in the electrical industry, ensuring safety and precision in every project. We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Control Panel Wireman to join and contribute to our commitment to their excellence.
Duties & Responsibilities:
As an Control Panel Wireman, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Wiring & Cabling : Wire back-plate and door control cables according to wiring schematics and data information sheets. Ensure correct cable crimps/ferrules are fitted, and all cables are marked with proper identification.
  • Power Cable Installation : Install mains power cables, ensuring that cable and cable lugs are the right size and type, with proper identification.
  • Component Connection : Connect power cables to components, ensuring tightness to specified torque settings. Apply torque paint, witnessed by a suitable employee, to confirm the correct settings.
  • Earth Cabling : Install earth cables throughout the enclosure, connecting all removable covers to the earth bar.
  • Labeling : Produce heat-shrink wire markers and component labels using dedicated printing machines for accurate identification.

All tasks must be conducted within Health and Safety regulations, company policies, and relevant risk assessments and safe work systems.
Qualifications & Skills:

  • Experience in electrical wiring and cable installation.
  • Familiarity with wiring schematics and data sheets.
  • Strong attention to detail, with an emphasis on quality and safety.
