Servara Ltd are pleased to be partnering with a well-established and growing heating and plumbing business in Truro to recruit an experienced Gas Engineer.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a professional and supportive team, providing high quality servicing and breakdown support to domestic customers across the local area.
The successful Gas Engineer will cover Truro and surrounding Cornwall locations.
Gas Engineer Duties Will Include
- Attending pre-booked domestic customer appointments
- Carrying out annual boiler servicing and gas safety inspections
- Diagnosing faults on domestic boilers and heating systems
- Carrying out reactive breakdown repairs and emergency call-outs when required
- Identifying and replacing faulty components to restore heating and hot water services
- Ensuring all work is completed to current Gas Safe standards and regulations
- Providing excellent customer service and clear communication to customers
- Completing all relevant paperwork, service records and compliance documentation accurately
- Maintaining company vehicle, tools and equipment to a professional standard
- Working independently whilst managing a daily workload effectively
The Gas Engineer Will Need
- Current ACS qualifications including CCN1, CENWAT, CPA1, CKR1 and HTR1
- Oil, PG or ASHP qualifications would be advantageous
- Previous experience within a domestic servicing and breakdown role
- Strong fault finding and diagnostic skills
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage your workload efficiently
- A full UK driving licence
- A positive and professional approach to work
