Servara Ltd are pleased to be partnering with a well established and growing heating, plumbing and electrical services business based in Truro to recruit an experienced Electrician.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a professional and supportive team, carrying out responsive maintenance repairs, testing and inspection works, and landlord safety certification across domestic properties.

The successful Electrician will cover Truro and surrounding Cornwall locations.

Electrician Duties Will Include

  • Attending pre-booked appointments within domestic properties
  • Carrying out responsive electrical maintenance and repair works
  • Diagnosing electrical faults and completing repairs in a safe and efficient manner
  • Undertaking Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) within occupied and void properties
  • Completing landlord electrical safety certificates and associated documentation
  • Carrying out testing and inspection of electrical installations in line with current regulations
  • Identifying remedial works and recommending appropriate solutions
  • Ensuring all work is completed in accordance with BS7671 Wiring Regulations
  • Maintaining accurate job records, certification and compliance documentation
  • Providing excellent customer service and clear communication to customers
  • Ensuring company vehicle, tools and equipment are maintained to a professional standard

The Electrician Will Need

  • NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent qualification
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification
  • 2391 Testing and Inspection qualification (or equivalent) is highly desirable
  • Proven experience carrying out responsive maintenance, testing and inspection works
  • Experience completing EICRs and landlord safety certificates
  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
  • Good knowledge of current electrical regulations and industry standards
  • Excellent communication skills and a professional approach to customer service
  • Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
  • A clean and valid UK driving licence
