An experienced pensions calculations specialist to join us on an initial 12-month fixed term contract. Within this role you will be joining a small pensions calculations team, on a key portfolio to review and remediate historic pensions advice within one of our core clients. In this role, you will be responsible for investigating pension-related complaints, analysing complex cases, and producing clear, accurate outcomes for customers. You will play a key part in ensuring regulatory compliance and delivering fair customer outcomes.
Knowledge & Experience
- Good understanding of Defined Benefit (Final Salary) pension schemes (preferred but DC scheme experience also open to)
- Awareness of historic pension reviews and legacy personal pension arrangements
- Strong knowledge of pension products and retirement options available to customers
- Understanding of current pensions legislation, risk, and regulatory frameworks
- Awareness of data protection requirements and best practice
- Educated to A-level standard or equivalent
- Desirable:
- Experience within financial services or pensions administration
- Familiarity with complaint handling frameworks and regulatory expectations
- Knowledge of CRM or complaints management systems
- Experience with pension calculation tools or administration platforms
