About the Role: The Governance Analyst role supports the delivery of effective governance through accurate reporting, coordination of governance activities, and maintenance of data, documentation and controls. The role enables strong oversight and informed decision‑making by ensuring governance information is reliable, timely and well‑structured. The role operates with low to moderate autonomy, supporting governance decision‑making through data, analysis and coordination. Complex issues are escalated to Governance Managers as appropriate. Success is measured by the accuracy and timeliness of reporting, quality of governance data, and effective support to governance forums, audits and issue management.

Responsibilities:
- Support governance reporting, forums and documentation for assigned clients or services
- Coordinate management information and produce governance packs for forums and stakeholders
- Monitor service performance, including SLAs, KPIs and other key metrics
- Track governance issues, actions and remediation activities, maintaining accurate logs
- Support incident management, audits and remediation activities from a governance perspective
- Maintain governance records, artefacts and documentation to agreed standards
- Liaise with internal teams to gather data, updates and inputs for reporting and governance forums
- Support the ongoing operation of governance processes and controls
- Escalate risks, issues or data concerns to Governance Managers in a timely manner
Essential Skills:
- Strong analytical and reporting capability, with the ability to work accurately with data
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- High level of attention to detail and data quality
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage tasks and deadlines
- Ability to follow structured processes and governance standards
- Basic understanding of governance, risk or compliance concepts
Desirable Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience in financial services, pensions, life insurance or outsourcing environments
- Knowledge of pensions or life insurance products and services
- Experience using governance, reporting or workflow tools and systems
- Entry‑level qualification or training in governance, risk or compliance (or working towards)
