I'm working with a global sporting organisation who are looking to recruit a Head of Operations for the business. This is a senior role managing a team of 5 heads of departments. Leading the overall venue operations strategy and leading the planning, organisation, and delivery of all events and racing.
Responsibilities:
- Leading the venue operations strategy for the business
- Lead the planning, organisation, and delivery of all events and racing
- Oversee all events, and the maintenance of permanent and temporary facilities, including health & safety compliance
- Lead on the facilities management function, working across all areas of the business such as Capex projects
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, partners, suppliers, and emergency services to ensure seamless race day operations.
- Lead a team of 5 in the operations department.
Candidate Specification:
- Previous experience working for a global sport or venue
- NEBOSH and IOSH qualified
- Proven experience planning, organising, and delivering large-scale events.
- Experience working across Capex projects
- Strong SAG experience
- Experience managing internal and external stakeholders.
