About Us
We are a leading organisation delivering ECO4 schemes, dedicated to reducing carbon emissions and improving energy efficiency across the UK. With a strong reputation and a talented workforce, we are now looking for a Director of Net Zero to drive our operations forward and expand our presence in this dynamic sector.
The Role
As Director of Net Zero, you will take full ownership of our net zero strategy, ensuring operational excellence, commercial success, and continued business growth. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Leading Net Zero Operations – Overseeing all net zero-related activities, ensuring compliance with regulations, and optimising performance.
- Transitioning to a Direct Labour Model – Managing the shift to a fully in-house workforce to improve efficiency, quality, and profitability.
- P&L Accountability – Owning and managing the financial performance of the net zero division, driving revenue growth, and maximising profitability.
- Scaling the Business – Developing and executing strategies to expand our net zero operations, securing new opportunities, and strengthening client relationships.
- Team Leadership – Building and leading a high-performing team, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and collaboration.
- Stakeholder Engagement – Representing the company externally, engaging with key stakeholders, government bodies, and industry partners.
What We’re Looking For
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven leader with:
- Proven experience in a senior leadership role within the net zero, energy efficiency, or sustainability sector.
- Strong commercial acumen with a track record of driving profitability and scaling businesses.
- Expertise in P&L management, budgeting, and financial forecasting.
- Experience managing large teams and leading cultural and operational transformations.
- Knowledge of ECO4 schemes, net zero initiatives, and government sustainability policies.
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and negotiate at the highest levels.
