Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development of our new air source heat pump installation division.
- Oversee all technical elements of ASHP installation, commissioning, fault‑finding and maintenance.
- Act as the senior technical authority on‑site and provide guidance to engineers and apprentices.
- Carry out surveys, specification checks and ensure every install meets industry standards.
- Support operational planning, job scheduling and quality assurance across all projects.
- Build strong working relationships with customers and suppliers.
- Work with senior management to help grow the division and ensure safe, compliant delivery.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
- Strong hands‑on installation experience with air source heat pumps.
- Solid understanding of commissioning, diagnostics, and system performance optimisation.
- Experience guiding or mentoring other engineers, or interest in moving into leadership.
- Good knowledge of MCS standards and current heat pump regulations.
- A practical, solution‑focused approach and pride in delivering quality workmanship.
- A desire to progress into a management‑level role within the renewables sector.
