About the Role
We are currently looking for an experienced Electrical Testing Engineer to carry out inspection and testing across a range of commercial properties in Portsmouth and surrounding areas. This role offers consistent work and competitive hourly rates for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out EICRs (Electrical Installation Condition Reports) on commercial sites
- Conduct inspection, testing, and fault finding
- Ensure compliance with BS 7671 regulations
- Accurately complete reports and certification
- Identify and report defects, recommending remedial actions
- Maintain high standards of health & safety on site
Essential Requirements
- City & Guilds 2391 (Inspection & Testing) essential
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Installation
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- Proven experience on commercial properties
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Ability to work independently and manage workload
Desirable
- IPAF / PASMA
- Experience with large-scale testing contracts
- Familiar with handheld/digital reporting systems
