About The Role
We are looking for a Compliance Officer to support the delivery of PAS services across live construction and retrofit projects in North Yorkshire. This is a predominantly site-based role (around 75%), focused on ensuring works are completed to the required quality, standards, and compliance requirements. This role sits on a clear progression pathway to Retrofit Coordinator, making it ideal for someone with a construction background who wants to develop their career within PAS 2035 and retrofit delivery. Average travel time to site is approximately 45 minutes, with a company car provided and mileage expenses reimbursed.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out site inspections and quality checks on PAS and retrofit works
- Ensure works comply with PAS standards, specifications, and best practice
- Identify non-compliance issues and support corrective actions on site
- Liaise with contractors, site teams, and internal stakeholders
- Produce clear follow-up reports, photographic evidence, and compliance documentation
- Complete associated administration and record-keeping to support audits and governance
- Support continuous improvement of quality and compliance processes
About You
- Background in construction (essential)
- Experience or knowledge of PAS / retrofit / ECO highly desirable
- Comfortable working on site and engaging with contractors
- Strong attention to detail and confidence in reporting findings
