About the Role

As a Smart Meter Dual Fuel Engineer, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and exchanging smart meters in customers’ homes. You’ll complete an average of five jobs per day, with the opportunity to increase your earnings through an uncapped productivity bonus for additional completed appointments. You will work independently, travelling throughout your allocated area with a company vehicle and using a tablet to view your daily schedule, which you can access up to two weeks in advance. Delivering excellent customer service is central to the role, ensuring customers understand the benefits and safe use of their new smart meter. This role offers extensive ongoing training, strong career progression pathways, and a supportive environment with regular catch-ups and assistance from Field Managers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install and maintain dual-fuel smart meters in customer homes.
  • Complete scheduled jobs efficiently and safely to required standards.
  • Provide clear guidance to customers on their new smart technology.
  • Follow all health and safety protocols and represent the company professionally.
  • Participate in emergency and maintenance appointments when required.

What You’ll Bring

  • A valid UK driving licence (held for at least 1 year, with fewer than 6 points).
  • CCN1 / CMA1 / CMA3 with MET1, or NVQ Level 2 in Smart Metering Dual Fuel.
  • Experience installing gas and electric smart meters.
  • Previous MOCOPA experience at multi-rate level.
  • EUSR registration.
